IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Driver & License Requirements

When you pick the car up, you'll need:

· Passport or National ID Card (for GCC citizens or UAE Resident only)

· Driving License (Minimum 6 months old from first issue date)

o International Driving Permit if Tourist/Visitor (International License translation will not be accepted)

o U.A.E. Driving License if on U.A.E Residence Visa

· Credit Card (Debit and Pre-paid Cards are not accepted)

All drivers must be aged at least 21 y/o.

*Note: Drivers who are between 21-25y/o are subject to pay extra 10% of the total damage cost if in case they an accident.

Security Deposit

At pick-up, the main driver will leave a refundable security deposit on their credit card. Cash and debit cards are not accepted.

· Small Car - AED 1,000

· Medium Car – AED 1,500

· Large/Premium Car – AED 2,000

· Luxury Car – AED 4,000

*Note: National Car Rental will not accept prepaid, recharge or virtual credit cards for security deposit.

Damage Excess

If the car's bodywork gets damaged, you’re covered by the Collision Damage Waiver. This means that the most you'll pay towards repairs is the damage excess liability of AED 1,000 for Small Cars, AED 1,500 for Medium Cars, AED 2,000 for Large/Premium Cars, and AED 4,000 for Luxury Cars provided that you have a Valid Police Report.

This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement. It doesn't cover other parts of the car (e.g. windows, wheels, interior or undercarriage), or charges (e.g. for towing or off-road time), or anything in the car (e.g. child seats, GPS devices or personal belongings).

Fuel Policy

When you pick your car up, the fuel tank will be full or partly full. Just before you return your car, please replace the fuel you’ve used. A fuel service charge of 15% of the fuel cost if car is not returned with same level as check out.

Mileage Restriction

For daily/weekly, your rental includes unlimited free kilometer. Except for Luxury/Premium vehicles which are capped to 250kms per day or 1750kms per week.

For monthly, your rental includes up to 3,000 kilometer only.

Insurance, Covers and Waivers

· Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

If the car’s bodywork gets damaged, the most you’ll pay towards repairs covered by the Collision Damage Waiver is the damage excess. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement. It doesn’t cover other parts of the car (e.g. glass, wheels, interior, roof or undercarriage), or charges (e.g. for towing or off-road time), or anything in the car (e.g. child seats, GPS devices or personal belongings).

· Third-Party Liability (TPL)

This covers the driver’s liability for injuries and property damage which are covered by the policy. It does not cover injuries to the driver or damage to the rental car. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement.

· Theft Protection (TP)

If the car is stolen, the most you’ll pay towards replacement costs covered by the policy is the theft excess. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement.
