Dubai UAE Flights from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are banned, "reportedly" till the 7th of August.

"Reportedly" because Dubai UAE Flights from India are subject to Government Mandate. Therefore, the ban can be increased if the need be.

This is what the carrier reported in a statement to Khaleej Times.

However, there are some exceptions to this travel, but those "some" are very very few, and real tight.

  2. Official Delegations.

  3. Diplomats.

  5. Passengers are granted permission by the relevant UAE authorities.

  6. Passengers on a business flight.

Even then, you have to follow a very tight procedure and go through a lot of health checks.

So, for the most, Dubai UAE Flights from India are banned till 7th August, and the time frame may also increase.

Dubai UAE Flights from India - Banned till 7th of August

UAE's national carrier said that the extension of flights suspensions from India and Pakistan are until further notice.

As per the most recent UAE Government directives, flights and usual travel from Dubai UAE Flights from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka have been suspended. The date till the travel is extended is reported to be 7h August 2021.

"Please note: This is an evolving situation and this date may have (subject) to be extended in line with Government Mandates."

The incoming flights are also suspended reportedly till the 7th of August 2021. However, Dubai UAE Flights from India and can be extended as it is subject to government mandates.

However, the following categories are allowed to enjoy Dubai UAE Flights from India

  3. Diplomats.

  4. Golden Visa Holders.

Passengers from these categories will remain an exception to the Dubai UAE Flights from India travel restrictions.

However, passengers from the above-mentioned categories will remain subject to quarantine conditions to control the spread of the deadly virus.

So, Do I need an ICA Approval to travel back to UAE?

What you are instead recommended to do is visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae and submit your passport number and emirates ID number. Afterward, you will receive instant verification regarding your entry status.

However, that applies under normal circumstances. The travel ban will remain constant until the 7th of August, and this duration is subject to Government Mandates. What that means is that the date can be extended further if the need be.

Albeit, passengers from the following categories will still be able to enjoy Dubai UAE Flights from India:

  1. UAE Nationals.

  2. Official Delegations.

  3. Diplomats/ Members of the diplomatic missions.

  4. Golden Visa Holders.

  5. Passengers that are granted permission by the relevant UAE authorities.

  6. Passengers on a business flight.

Now, if you are from one of the above-mentioned categories, then you will need to complete the following steps:

Note: You will be quarantined for 10 days.

  1. A Negative PCR test. This test shall be issued within 48 hours of the time of:

  1. Sample Collection.

  2. Scheduled Flight Departure.

  1. An additional PCR test on arrival in Dubai.

  2. Two more PCR Tests; on Day 4th and Day 8th of your 10-day quarantine.

  3. Signing an indemnity document for a 10-day home or hotel quarantine. It will start from the day of arrival.

Now, if you happen to be from the above-mentioned category, then you are allowed to travel. But, if you are a part of Dubai UAE flights from India, then you will need to complete additional two steps:

  1. Covid-19 Rapid Antigen.

  2. Rapid PCR test at the airport before departure.

Conclusion

Dubai UAE flights from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are banned.

The ban is supposed to remain till the 7th of August. However, the time period for the ban can be increased.

As the carrier was reported in a statement to Khaleej Times as saying "Please note: This is an evolving situation and this date may have (subject) to be extended in line with Government Mandates."
